In essence the Rickenbacker 330/12 is a 12-string version of the ever-popular 330.
The maple semi-hollow body of the Rickenbacker 330 Electric Guitar offers bright and precise tones with plenty of clarity and tight lows, while the construction of the guitar ensures it’s lightweight. What’s more the uniquely shaped crescent moon double cutaway body of the Rickenbacker 330 Semi-Acoustic offer full access to the upper register and is accentuated by Rickenbacker’s traditional slash-shaped sound hole.
With so much attention drawn to the body of the guitar the Rickenbacker 330 Semi-Acoustic features a simple 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, which has been lacquered to provide a comfortable and quick playing surface.
Giving all the jingle-jangle, The Smiths/R.E.M. sound that the 300 series is known for the Rickenbacker 330 Electric Guitar features a pair of hi-gain single-coil pickups.
Used alone the Rickenbacker 330’s neck pickup offers a warm, mellow jazz tone. Together with the bridge pickup you’ll get the classic Rickenbacker jangle. Alone the bridge gives more slicing, searing tone.
